Brandon Russell was born in '95 into a family heavily entrenched in Memphis music with family members that include professional musicians. His first passion was martial arts - leading him to being a three time national weapons and forms champ from the age of 5. At 10 Brandon's focus turned to drums where his disciplinary skills drove his musical talent well ahead of the curve. With a surprising ability for song memorization, he developed a steady foot and solid rhythms which resulted in numerous opportunities to perform on stage with various bands before his 14th birthday. Similar to his fellow Young Guns band mates, the spirit of a seasoned classic rock musician resides in his soul. |
